Thursday Twilight Golf

Thursday Twilight is now underway with  tee times 3-5.30pm, booking recommended.

Members $10, Visitors $25. Includes scramble fee, green fee and a drink from the Bar.

There is 2x trips for two to Wairakei to be won, with the more you play the more chance you have.

Tree Works

The number of days tree works will be happening is likely to increase over the coming weeks and as mentioned previously we are now at a stage where the remaining works will often require a hole to be closed.

For Health & Safety reasons, if you hit your ball into the roped off work area, make sure you get workers attention before enter.

If a hole is closed it will be shown on a sign at the Pro Shop and tee of the closed hole. Please walk the hole and record 2 Stableford points if entering a card for handicapping.

As advised in previous communications a number of trees are being topped or cutdown as part of the airport height restriction works.

Members are welcome to take some firewood, please advise the office or green staff if doing so. As a matter of fairness at this stage we ask members to limit your take to two trailer loads.

Most of the wood is cut to a size that can be lifted onto trailers by hand.

We are asking those members that do take some to make a donation of $50 per tailer load to the junior programme, payable at the office.

Collection only from piles at practice fairway, strictly no going on course, chain sawing, axe work or splitting to take place on Omanu grounds.
