Dear Guest, Friday, 24 September, 2021

I hope you are enjoying being back out on course, there certainly been plenty of traffic on those days without too much rain.

On a sad note, I wish to advise that Life Member Stan Kershaw passed away during lockdown. Stan had been a long standing member and in recent times an active member of the 9-hole section and was elected a Life Member in 2020.

As members will be aware this time of year is very busy for golf and other events around the the club, below I outline some information about various things of note.

All the best to those playing various Championship events over the coming weeks.

Good Golfing!!

Scott Meiklejohn

General Manager

Alert Level 2

With the slight alteration to Alert Level 2 of allowing 100 people in the clubhouse at once, now is timely to touch base in relation to our operations under these restrictions.

From next week we will revert to 2-tee starts, current bookings will stand. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean back to normal though, we are still required to adhere to the following;

  1. 100 chairs have been laid out, once all are taken we are at capacity. Please don’t move tables and chairs around to form large groups.
  2. Masks should be worn when moving around the Clubhouse and Pro Shop, i.e. entering/exiting indoor facilities, printing scorecards, ordering food and drinks, going to the toilet and entering scorecards. Masks can be removed once seated.
  3. All members should scan QR codes or sign-in when going into the clubhouse as a back-up to bookings and/or taking a scorecard.
  4. Please ensure you sanitise when entering the clubhouse and touching communal surfaces.

Again, thank you in helping ensure we can continue with our golf and clubhouse operation.

We are taking orders for shirts until the end of October, please advise size selections at the office.
