Catch up time again
 
  1. There is a Chainsaw firewood working bee this Sunday (6th April) at 9.00am. If you have a chainsaw and can make it, the bows need cutting into rings. Fuel for the chainsaws and afterwards for the helpers will be provided.
  2. The Cossi are running an Open $5.00 scramble on Sunday (6th April) at 10.00-11.30am one tee.
  3. Monday is the Open Waipuna Charity 9 Hole tournament. Also open to 18 Holers. Come and support Waipuna. Your $25.00 goes to the cause and there still is a great prize table.
  4. Men's Top Dog starts Saturday April 12th.
  5. You may have noticed the yellowing of the kikuyu. Spraying of  this and other weeds will continue through Autumn.
  6. The Players Committee have decided that members who abuse the practice facilities or practice on the course will be subject to the following penalties.
            1st offence:      Warning
            2nd offence      2 weeks suspension of handicap
            3rd offence       4 weeks suspension of handicap
            4th offence        8 weeks suspenion of handicap
 
   7.     The correct way to drive around the carpark is clockwise. An accident is likely to occur if you take a short cut in the opposite direction.
 
   8.   BOP Girls Junior golf training day. Thursday 1st May at Springfield Golf Club. Co-ordinate with Aroha Tito.
 
   9.   Ross Bielby was the lucky winner of the Diners Club promotion winning a cool travel bag.
 
   10.   Caltex Bayfair have changed to Star Metro, but they will still accept our (caltex) vouchers.
 
   11.   It's a good idea to know the basic rules of golf in order to play fairly. Advise your partner if he/she is about to breach a rule. Equally, etiquette requires you to play within the spirit of the game and make it an enjoyable experience.
 
   12. The Golfer Pacific Easter Sat Open Pairs Combined Stableford is filling up fast-Get your team on the start sheet by the office for your chance of the $2000 prize table. Please pay at the office.
 
   13. Sunday 13th April we have a full field of Championship and Intermediate Mens pennants playing Omanu. Reciprocals apply to Mount, Te Puke and Fairview, subject to availability.
 
   14. If the Green Keepers remove the tee markers off the tee to mow, they place them to the side in the position where they will go back. Play opposite the markers-not from the concrete block.
